The Herons sits by the shore at the Keiss edge of Sinclair's Bay, within a two-acre partly-fenced garden with panoramic views across the bay toward Noss Head Lighthouse. With direct access to the rocky beach, this is as close to the sea as it gets.
This spacious cottage sleeps 7 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a cosy living room featuring a solid fuel stove and a games room with a full-size pool table. Everything you need for a perfect Highland escape.

Approximately 17 miles from Dunnet Head — the most northerly point of mainland Scotland — The Herons is perfectly placed for exploring. Orca, minke and humpback whales can be seen off the coast, and seals bask in the bay.
Visit Castle Sinclair Girnigoe and Old Keiss Castle, explore the RSPB Reserve at Forsinard, or venture further to Orkney and the west coast. At certain times of the year, the Northern Lights will blow you away. From the cosy log stove to the games room with a full-size pool table — every detail is designed to make your Highland escape unforgettable.
